Dental Implant Quotes in Thailand: What Is Included?

Compare implant, abutment, crown, scans, and follow-up fees in Thai dental quotes. Use our worksheet and message template to request a clear written breakdown.
Start with the finished tooth, then check each line
When comparing dental implant quotes in Thailand, first ask whether the amount covers placement of the implant, the abutment, and the final crown. Then check assessment fees, any additional treatment, follow-up appointments, and the payment schedule. A headline price is difficult to compare until those details are written down.
This guide is a worksheet for comparing quotes for one missing tooth. A bridge or full-arch restoration needs its own itemized plan. Your dentist should determine which treatment is appropriate; use the checklist to understand the proposed costs and arrangements. You can start your shortlist on our dental implant treatment page.
1. Identify the implant, abutment, and crown
These names describe different parts of an implant-supported tooth. The implant body sits in the jawbone; the abutment connects it to the replacement tooth; the crown is the visible tooth restoration. The FDA explains the implant system and recommends keeping the implant brand and model in your records.
Ask the clinic to name each component in the quote, even if it charges one combined price. Record the implant brand and model, whether the abutment is standard or customized, and the proposed crown material. Also ask whether a temporary restoration is included or separately charged. Do not assume a price for an implant body includes everything needed for the finished tooth.
2. Read the provider’s pricing format before comparing totals
Official provider pages illustrate why this matters. Checked on October 16, 2026, BIDH’s dental price list displays separate Thai-baht columns for the implant and implant crown. It also lists a digital surgical guide separately. Ask where the abutment and each proposed service appear in your personal quote.
By comparison, Thantakit’s implant pricing page describes its single-tooth prices as including the implant, abutment, and final zirconia crown. Its inclusion notes also cover standard follow-up visits during treatment, while listing scans and several other procedures as additional charges when required.
These are examples of how providers present fees, not equivalent treatment offers or a quality ranking. Request the same level of detail from each clinic. Our BIDH profile and Thantakit profile can help you organize the providers you want to contact.
3. Mark possible extras as confirmed, excluded, or unresolved
Ask for a written answer about consultation and imaging, extractions, bone grafting or a sinus lift if proposed, anesthesia or sedation, medication, temporary teeth, and follow-up. This is a list of billing questions; it does not mean you need these services.
For example, Thantakit’s published inclusion notes say CT scans, extractions, grafting, sinus lifts, sedation, and medication are quoted separately if required. Check your own treatment plan before adding or removing any of these items.
For every unresolved item, write “confirm” instead of zero. Ask what the fee is based on: one tooth, one implant, one scan, one visit, or one stage of treatment. If assessment changes the proposed work, request a revised total and explanation before agreeing.
4. Match payments to treatment stages and travel
Ask the clinic to separate the proposed placement stage from the final restoration stage. BIDH’s single-tooth implant explanation describes placement and later crown construction after healing, with the dentist checking the implant before proceeding. A published outline is not your individual travel schedule.
Request the expected appointments for each trip, what has to be reassessed before the next stage, and which payments are due at each point. Ask whether the quote includes the final crown-fitting visit and what happens financially if the plan changes.
Keep flights, accommodation, local transport, and any later return trip in a separate travel budget. Confirm the timetable with the treating team before buying non-refundable travel. Do not treat “two appointments” and “two trips” as interchangeable answers.
5. Check the written terms as carefully as the amount
Ask how long the quote is valid, which currency you will be charged in, and whether a deposit or payment method changes the price. Keep a dated copy of the quote and the terms that apply to your booking.
BIDH’s price page states that treatment is charged in Thai baht, that its foreign-currency figures are conversions, and that listed prices may change. A converted number on a website is therefore not a guaranteed charge on your card.
Ask separately about follow-up fees and written warranty conditions: what is covered, what maintenance is required, who evaluates a problem, and who pays for additional travel. A warranty headline does not answer all of those questions.

Use one column for each written offer. Enter the same treatment scope and units in both columns, and ask the clinic to resolve the blanks before comparing the totals.

A message you can send to the clinic
Adapt this request to the treatment the dentist has proposed:
“I am comparing written quotes for a single dental implant. Please confirm whether your total includes placement, the abutment, and the final crown, naming the implant system and crown material. Please itemize assessment and scans, any proposed additional procedures, temporary teeth, medication, and follow-up fees. Which items remain subject to examination? Please also confirm the payment stages, expected appointments for each trip, quote validity, and cancellation and warranty terms.”
Send clinical records only through the channel the clinic recommends. For an initial comparison, you can start with package names, public price-page links, and the questions that remain unanswered.
