Our history
Founded in 1979, Samitivej grew from a single hospital into a respected hospital group spanning Bangkok and Chonburi. Its Sukhumvit flagship has become the medical hospital of choice for Bangkok's Japanese community and for families seeking world-class pediatric care. In 2007 it was the first hospital in Asia awarded JCI accreditation for the Children's Hospital alongside its general accreditation.
